I can't find a doctor locally to look at me for other medical problems because I have Moya-Moya. My family doctor keeps sending me back to Burlington Vermont.  I'm really getting frustrated with this.  Right now I have a female problem with bleeding and its been going on for 16 days and I'm getting tired and frustrated and no one will look at me.  Back to Burlington I guess I'll go, but this is getting serious.  Is there any help I can get I live in northern New York.  Please help.

do you have a neurologist, between your Dr and neurosurgeon? my sister had her surgeries in Vermont, have you contacted a specialist in moyamoya?Dr Scott or steinberg? there is also a Dr in Syracuse that has done the surgery, but note Burlington and Syracuse Dr's are not specialists in the field. my sister was sent to Vermont many times and she had mrsa staff of the brain and lost the bone covering her surgical site. she has high bp and other problems and Vermont blew her off because they did not have answers to our questions about her outcome. this sounds like what is happening to you. the only Dr that would see my daughter after her surgeries was Dr.healey in Canton, we also see Dr Helen Barkan(neurologist) at upstate Syracuse. if Vermont is not helping you please seek other help. I took my daughter to Syracuse because Vermont failed to diagnose her when she was 4.hope this helps. with this disease you must fight we live in Potsdam, hope this helps a bit. if you want the surgeons name in Syracuse let me know.
