How many adults if any have had multiple surgeries on the same side. I had a left side STA-MCA done last year and the flow is not good. Any response would be appreciated.

I had two procedures in the same surgery. On my left side I had a STA-MCA and an EMS (muscle on-top of the brain). I was only scheduled for the STA-MCA but during the procedure they found the temporal artery was too small to use so they went for one in my forehead. That was also on the smaller size, so they went out to my family and asked if they could do the EMS since they were concerned about adequate blood flow. During the six month check up the STA-MCA was not very successful but the EMS was more successful then originally predicted.
