My 19 year old daughter was diagnosed with MM on August 13th 2010. On August 20th she had STA-MCA sugery. She had multiple strokes during surgery and is not speaking or walking. Her recovery has been slow and difficult. Since the surgery there have been no follow up tests to check on the effectivness of the surgery or the progression of the disease. I'm trying to figure out if this is normal follow up or should she have had additional angios or mri/mras by now. Can anyone help??

My first follow-up MRI was six months post surgery.

We had a 6 month mri and will have an Angiogram at 1 year

I had an MRA after 6 months then an angio after a year.
