My 16 y old daughter had a stroke in Dec found out she had moyamoya and today we found out she needs bypass on both sides. they will do the left one April 14th and then after it heals will do the right one. Dr. Elbalsaa will do it. nervous on what to expect. don't know how to prepare her she has Aspergers and if she prepared can handle it. but if not it can over whelm her..

she just got diganosed with it in Dec. 2010 when she had a masive stroke. she has had several small ones before the massive one and continues to have small ones and now having them on the right side too. they said with NF and Moyamoya it had to be done now.

we are nervous and anxious about all this. anyone on here with NF and moyamoya
