Well, after almost 3 weeks of fighting the insurance company, Christopher's medicaid insurance came through and approved everything this morning. I have been running around all day like a crazy person getting everything together! He will have a ct angiogram on Friday, we get to spend the weekend in Boston enjoying ourselves, then surgery on both sides of his head is on Tuesday.

I want to thank everyone for your well wishes and prayers. I am so anxious to have this over with and I am also very scared! Please keep the prayers coming and I will update as soon as I can.

That's great news! I know you are anxious but all will be fine. The young ones handle it just fine. Just remember after the surgery the eye will swell up!! No one told me that and it scared me to death. Keep us in the loop and enjoy your visit to Boston before the surgery,

Hi Karen -

Best of luck and a speedy recovery to Christopher! You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers!

(FYI - my eye didn't swell up after surgery...everyone is different...but I would definitely ask the doc what to expect after surgery when they come in to discuss with you!)

Great news! So glad everything worked out for you. Try to hit the aquarium, its pretty fun! Or a duck boat tour, great way to see the city, which, by the way, is beautiful!
As Donna said, please keep us posted on how things are going.

That is great! i am so happy to hear that things are moving in the right direction agian. Praying for a perfect surgery and speedy recovery. Please keep us posted.

Thank you everyone! Chris had the cta angiogram today and every thing went well. He slept all day from the sedation but he is now out with his dad at the playground. I'm looking up things to do in Boston for the next 3 days, it is beautiful her and the weather is sunny and warm!

He will be admitted into the hosptial on Monday at 4pm. I will keep you all updated as soon as I can.

I want to especially thank St. Jude, patron saint of lost acuses, who I prayed to the last few hours before surgery was approved. Thank you God, Blessed Virgin Mary and all the angels and saints. I was doubting my faith a bit for a while, but never again!

I'm so glad to hear all is going well. You are in great hand in Boston. I have great faith in St. Jude. I hope you get have a fun weekend in Boston it's a beautiful city!!! Keep us posted when you can.
