I am having my bypass in Seattle with Dr. Newell on the 3rd of August. Has anyone had any experience with Swedish or Dr. Newell? So far all the interactions have been positive and he has experience with Moya Moya and the treatment of. I am nervous about the bypass but, hopeful that the symptoms will be eased. Will be having a second bypass on the other side in two to three months. Any advice or words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kim

Kim, Just wanted to send best wishes your way and prayers. I can only imagine how nervous you must be. Sorry I can't offfer you any advice or info. My son has Moyamoya and has had surgery which is a different type of surgery from what you are having. I'm sure someone on here has experienced what you will be going through. Hopefully they will respond to your post.
