Christopher had his stitches taken out yesterday in Boston, they were in for 6 long weeks! The incision is finally closed and looks great!

Dr. Smith said the lump on the right side of his head is the titanium that was put in during the original surgery and not to worry about it.

Hopefully.....no more complications! Next visit will be for MRI/MRA then the 1st year visit for angiogram.

Thanks again to everyone for your prayers and well wishes! Now we just have to work on his speech and right hand issues.

That is great news! You must be so relieved. I have been wondering how Christopher has been doing. I pray he stays away from the doctor until the one year check.

WOW, you guys must feel so relieved to have this finally behind you. I can feel your excitiment from your post. What a long difficult journey it's been. Is he back to school?

Thanks for the great news.........amazing what speech therapy and OT can do for speech and hands.......important to do things they like..........my daughter took pottery classes to help get her hands moving...and I remember the OT also putting a coin in my daughter's pocket and she had to "work at it" to get it out....used all kinds of muscles there...very helpful and she liked it too.

Thank you everyone.! Christopher is back at school, he could not wait to go back and is very happy. .Needless to say so are me and his dad! lol

Now, my husband and I have to prepare for my daughter's surgery on November 18. She is 15 and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on both sides. 1st surgery on the 18th and it will be a long recovery!

Never a dull moment here! lol
