My sister who is 44 was just recently diagnosed with Moyomoya disease. She was told this is common amongst Asians. She had a stroke but was lucky in that she had very few defecits. She is still able to walk, talk, and get up. But she is very tired and has difficulty holding things in her right arm. They said she would need surgery once the swelling goes down. 4 - 6 weeks. She was not told before she left the hospital what she should be doing for physical activity. She wants to walk a little bit each day. Please advise.
