BUT it's been 10 yrs since Kathleen's diagnosis of Moyamoya. Yesterday was exactly 10 years since her first stroke and her diagnosis came the very next day.On this day we started on a very long and challenging journey. Sometimes filled with fear, tears, anxiety, and SO many questions but, in Kathleen's true form always smiles. She's my hero!!!  It always makes me appreciate how important this site is. There was nothing at all like this when Kathleen was diagnosed and I know this would have been such an important resource for support and GOOD information. If I haven't said it lately Thank you DJ and everyone who still comes and supports the newly diagnosed families!!!
