Well Tanya is in theatre now just another day of waiting i guess. anyone would think i was the one getting opperated on lol at least now i can have a blubber cry with out her knowing. she is so strong i am so proud. so let me know how as patners, husbands, wives, mum , dads and or kids u handle it. i know have to be strong and i know our loved ones r in the best hands, yes we have to be strong buthey even us men need a good cry every now and then.
Thanx to all the people for their support and best wishes i will let u all know how she is in about 7-8 hrs.
Need another coffee cheers

Kool she is back still have to talk to the dr but she is laughing lol
nice hair cut too will try and post some pics soon

Geoff, so glad to hear it went well.  I know you must be relieved.  If her eye swells up a lot don't be alrmed.  They didn't tell us that Destin's would and it scared me!  Try to rest when you can.  I know you want to be there for her but it will be draining on you too.

Good news that Tanya's surgery went well.
You do need to try and take care of yourself too. Easier said than done, especially when you have children. I would suggest talking to a social worker in the neurology dept if they have one. Wish I had done this when my daughter had her surgery. It helps to talk and know that your are not alone.

Wiw here we r three days after surgery and the doctors have said its tine to go home how crazy is that. tanya's hair looks good and yes thats very important for her lol. no headaches or pain.
We are so happy get to see the kids again.
Thax again for all the support ee have gotten from MM.com and friends and family too.

So happy to hear Tanya's surgery went well! My son had the surgery and his head was shaved, but we keep his hair shaved anyway!

It is crazy to think how fast they are released from the hospital after this type of surgery. She will amaze you at how well she does!
