We heard from Kathleen's Dr. in Boston. He said that the biopsies showed that her Celiac and Crohn's are being managed by the diet and medication. The Motility tests he did showed that her large intestines had practically no motillity throughout. Even after administering 2 doses directly to her intestines of something like Dulcolax there was no activity or response. He wants us to try a new medication called Amitiza. We started it yesterday. If this works it may help her to go more often, if not the alternative is surgical. I call back in 2 weeks and let him know how it's working. Crossing my fingers she doesn't have any side affects.
