Title: Skydiving indoor with Moya-moya Post by Dennis on Jul 20th, 2016 at 12:23pm
Dear all,
because parachuting is out of the question I wanted to do some indoor skydiving in a windchannel. The duration would be around 15-30 minutes with breaks. I would have to wear a helmet and some protective gear. I called my neurologist today and he said he wouldn't recommend it because health goes before this adventurous event. I myself have a bi-lateral surgery 5 years ago in 2011. So a double sided bypass. What would other Moya Moya patients recommend? Is it really that dangerous? Could it really harm me? Thanks |

Parachuting is not out of the question:)
I had bilateral bypass, and I jumped out of the airplan from 15,000 last year, as well as indoor skydiving without any problem. ;D |

Thanks! My neurologist and my surgeon both strictly forbid parachuting but (with hesitation) allowed Skydiving in the windchannel. So I'll respect his decision and try that first.
Thanks. |
