Title: Why can't I see today?

This is my first post.  Hello everybody.  My depth perception has been really bad lately because of this disease.  Can anyone relate? [smiley=huh.gif]

It just depends on what part of your brain is affected by the disease.  Just think of what your brain controls and you'll thank God that it wasn't a lot worse.
After my stroke I lost my left side peripheral vision.  It's a real pain in the but, however I'm learning to adapt and even drive again.  Seek out The Commission for The Blind in your state.  They've been wonderful and can provide you with adaptive vision aids at no charge along with training.  I'm getting a pair of prism glasses to help my problem.  They cost approx. 1,000.00 and The Commission is going to pay for half,  not bad!
Good luck and let me know how you make out.

Alice, just wanted to say  [smiley=hiya.gif] and welcome to the family!

My stroke affected the feeling in my left had and fingers.  Didn't have any problems with vision so I won't be of much help on this one.  Sorry!

But once again, WELCOME!
