Hey there peeps!

A week from Sunday I will be racing in my first triathlon (post surgery). I ran one 4 years ago, so technically this is my second. In between the two I got married, moved, was on a TV show, got divorced, had a stroke, diagnosed moya moya, treated for MM, and now here I am. Whew! I may be too tired to participate. Anyway, I am planning to somehow smear Moya Moya on my body somewhere, so it will be visible in pictures. I plan to do that in other races too and see what kind of visability I can get out there.
I will post a picture if I can get this to work ;-)

Hi Sandi,

You are an inspiration! I wish I had half the ambition you have. Heck, I'm still looking for the eject button on my recliner! lol!

I'm simply in awe of all you have been through and you still have a great sense of humor and upbeat and positive attitude. You find the strength to "dance in the rain".

Anywho - I wanted to let everyone know the outcome of my triathlon....if interested.

I finished clock time in 2:01:07, but my stopwatch showed under 2 hours. That is my story and I am sticking to it ;-)

How did you prepare for the triathlon and for how long?

Was the news media there? This would make an excellent MM story. The fact it has not been that long ago you had surgery and now running a triathlon? Remarkable! You are truly an inspiration to all.

Can't wait to meet you in Vegas. It's only about 5 weeks away. Time is flying! The reunion will be here before we know it.
