OK.....I am really laughing over here! But I guess, better late than never. Well, just in case anyone else was suffering from the same fate....I will share my embarassment!

Whenever I received a private message here on the board...I got a really loud (sort of annoying) THERE'S A LETTER IN YOUR MAILBOX! Anyone within a reasonable earshot....would turn and ask "what the heck was that?" I always wished it could be a little more discrete....

Well, today....while checking in my profile.....I found that you can can actually CHOOSE from 1 of 4 different "mail-tones" LOL!

Carlinmail ...(George Carlin...my annoying original!)
Mailwaiting....(soft tech friendly alternative)
Readmail ....(a Don Knotts option...also..could be considered annoying...lol)
Xmail.....(an xfile background spoof..also softer)

So....after 2 years.....I finally realized I can change it out to what suits me better!

Guess after another year I might even be able to upload pictures!

Hi Diane, I kind of like that THERE'S A LETTER IN YOUR MAILBOX!  Everytime I hear that is remind me of a grumpy old man who is irritated because I GOT MAIL  [smiley=laugh.gif].

When you find out how to load pictures, you have to tell me. ;;D.  Also I have to learn how to change my typing color and make a [smiley=shore.gif] traveling through the page.

I am already outnumbered by LOUD, overpowering men in my home and I'm desperately seeking a calmer space! Four out of my 5 kids are males....and the 3 older ones are 6 footers!

My house is far from the softer side of things! No wonder I have headaches! LOL
