My son James is 16 and was diagnosed with Moya Moya 10 days ago. He had the EDAMS surgery done a mere 7 days later by Dr. Glazier at MUSC in Charleston. So far we have been amazed at his knowledge and abilities. I believe that we are currently the only Moya Moya case in South Carolina.

We will be returning to MUSC in a few days for James' post op visit. So far we are astounded with Dr. Glazier's knowledge. He has a wonderful bedside personality and yet is still very professional. He saved our son's life! He has had few issues post op and we are very pleased.

Best wishes to you and your family. My 34 year old niece was diagnosed a few days ago & is having her surgery today at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Your experience is encouraging to me. Thanks for sharing.

My niece Laura had 11 hours of surgery yesterday. Today she is awake and responding. So far, so good. Praise the healing hand of God!

My husband has had so many bad side effects from his surgery at Richland Memorial in Columbia, SC by DR. Sharon Webb that I worked very hard to get him seen at MUSC by Dr. Robert Adams. It makes me feel good that there is a DR at MUSC that did a acomplishing surgery because my husband needs his left side done also. Thanks for the hope! :)
