Hi My name is Travis my wife Vanessa and I found out last week that our 3 year old daughter Rosie has MMD.
We live in a small country town in Victoria, Australia. Our daughter had a stroke affecting her left side and was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.....So far she has made a great recovery from the stroke....we are now waiting for the hospital surgeons to decide which type of surgery is the best option to combat her condition. I'm going to have a surf around the site to try and learn more about Moyamoya and get my head around the whole thing. It would be great to hear from other parents of children with this condition, especially other Aussies......I'm lead to believe that there aren't too many of us. |
