Kyle is now officially an Eagle Scout!
This has been an extremely busy year for him (and us!)- and at times, I worried we had him doing too much (scouts, learning to drive, he's an Officer in NJROTC, Senior yr in HS!, college/scholarship app's). :-[ But he is seeing the fruits of his labors now: last week he completed his Board of Review and became the 50th boy in our district to earn the Eagle rank this year (100th anny of BS in America) and he received his 1st college acceptance notice from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It's been a long road since his stroke in '97 when we discovered he had MM. He had struggles with academics, migraines, BP, and personal struggles with fitting in, but he persevered, kept pushing on and is now one very happy young man! We are very proud of him. Life is good! ;D |

WOW you must be very very proud!!! I know that earning the rank fo Eagle Scout is quite an accomplishment. It takes a lot of dedication and work. I'm so glad to heara that he's doing so well.
