We're finally going to Hawaii.
Between Oct. 3rd and Oct 30th.
Will be in Lanikai beach area in Oahu between the 11th to the 19th.
Making other plans which might include other islands.
Anyone care to meet and visit?

Have a wonderful trip. I lived in Kailua which is the town right next to Lanikai. I loved it there. someday we'll go back and visit friends we left and all of the places we miss. I had my first SCUBA lesson off Lanikai. Really beat my legs up on the coral. Used to swim out to flat island which you'll see there off Kailua beach. Aloha!

Thanks for those wonderful reminiscences!!!
We're touring the Big Island for a week (Oct 4- 11th) to see the volcanoes, and everything before Lanikai.
Anyone who can and wants to contact us please don't be shy.

We LOVE the Islands!!!!!
Stayed in Kailua for 12 days / rented kayaks !!!
What a great place to live. We didn't want to return to the rainy cold redwoods. This trip was the first vacation (flying) for me post strokes and surgery (1999 and 2000) that I've not been totally overwhelmed, brain glitched, etc....
Was wonderful to feel more capable again ~ with tons of help from Jack ~

So glad you had a great time. Some people don't like Hawaii as much as they they think they will. We loved living there. I would go back in a heart beat if it wasn't so expensive. Aloha!
