Hi: Need help with my daughter, she is 10 years old, she is 3er grade now, She did 2 times second grade. Now she is better and working hard but I feel the school and teacher are not helping or has patient with her >:(. She is in ESE program. What can I do? I must to disability her? She is so sad and depress about her score ad report card. :(
Someone can help me? :-/

Mary, I'm so sorry to hear this. If you don't mind can I ask a few questions and maybe I can help out. Did your daughter have any strokes? Does she have an IEP or 504 plan at school? My daughter has an IEP she was aslo born with down syndrome and is doing well in school and loving it soI hate to hear of a child not liking school and not getting all the help and attention they need.

She has 5 strokes, 2 bpass and last July had a Burn Holes (3) cirgury. She only need some extra time I think
