Has anyone had any experience with Naproxen Sodium? Been told to use it or not to use it? Kathleen is having some pain that Advil is not helping with and this was suggested but with caution to ask her PC Dr. I looked it up and it does mention not using it if your on blood thinners or are at risk for strokes. I haven't looked into any further than that...

Hi Mary Grace,

My Daughter who is 8 was just Diagnosed with MoyaMoya this past May and had surgery on her Left side in June. We were lucky that she has not had a stroke yet but she had REALLY Bad Migraines and the only thing we have found to help is the Naproxen! Her Doctor prescribed it and we have had no issues with her taking it, other than she must take Zofran with it to keep her stomach from getting upset. I hope this eases your mind a little in knowing that it will not effect her!
