There is always good medicine in humor. It can certainly make one feel a little better in light of a terrible situation.

DJ mentions in his personal story, "Maui Maui what?" I couldn't help but chuckle a little considering I had a similar experience when I first heard the word "moyamoya." I immediately went home and googled "mahi mahi" simply because I misunderstood what the neurologist was actually trying to tell me. I quickly realized that this disease had nothing to do with a poisonous, tropical fish. "What was the name of that disease again, honey?"
