Title: Surgery at Johns Hopkins Post by Teacup on Nov 28th, 2016 at 12:01am
I am having surgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore in about a month and wanted to know if anyone had their surgery done there and what their experience was like.
Thank you! |

I didn't have mine done at Johns Hopkins but in Washington State with Dr. Laligam Sekhar. (indirect bypass) I had an acquaintance who went to Baltimore and they just drilled holes for revascularization. I don't think it went very well. I live in DC now, I just saw Wayne Olan at George Washington for a follow up angiogram (its been around 10 years since my surgery) and everything was fine. I think there may be several bypass specialist in DC now.

I had the right side done on 8/16/16 by Dr Huang and the left side done on 11/1/16. Dr. Huang and the entire staff at Johns Hopkins were amazing. I hope your surgery was a success.
