First time poster, long time lurker. A year and three months ago, the love of my life was diagnosed with MMD. Thank you all so much for creating this forum and participating in threads here: it's one of the best resources out there. Reading your posts gave me strength many times in the past year.

After a successful surgery on one side, he was supposed to go through the second one the day after tomorrow. However, he tested positive for MRSA, and the surgery was called off. The consultations and treatment for MRSA are not covered by his insurance.

Did any of you ever experience such a situation? Did you find a way out? Do you have any advice?
