My wife suffered a stroke earlier this year and was later diagnosed with moyamoya. She has subsequently undergone surgery to restore blood supply.

She occasionally describes hearing whoosh sounds that are rhythmic and lasts for minutes to hours. This has occurred prior to the stroke and since as well (both preop/postop).

Curious to know if anybody else has had similar experience?
