Timothy's pre-op
Nov 17th, 2003 at 5:48pm

Well we went to the hospital today for Timothy's pre-op appointments.  Tim got a tour of the pediatric ICU and the ped's floor where he will be spending most of his stay.  Must say, he is doing remarkebly well through all of this.  He did state today that he is a little scared, but that he just wants to get it done.  The nurses told him today that there really isnt too much pain involved in this surgery(I HOPE THEY'RE RIGHT).  We will keep you informed, and we have will hopefully have pics for you ASAP after the surgery.  Thanks all for your prayers and words of encouragment!!!

If my son was a typical case, there isn't alot of pain. But Tyler was afriad of looking in the mirror, when he did catch a glimps it bothered him and he made a point to avoid mirrors for the week he was looking the roughest. Other than that he was a typical 11 year-old and was all over the hospital checking it out.
Good Luck, my prayers are with you.
