Our own ribbon
Jul 29th, 2004 at 3:58pm

I was noticing the other day just how many ribbons people sport for different causes.  I thought maybe we should adopt our own ribbon.  I was thinking, maybe silver or gray because 1. the every dark cloud has it's silver lining, 2. silver has many different religious ties and would not be seen as one faith or another if it matters to someone, and 3.  well, silver makes me think of angels wings.
Anyway, it is just and idea.  I thought I would toss it out here and see what everyone thinks.

Hey Tammy, I like it!!! An excellent idea girl!! Gray or silver as you say could also resemble the color of "puff of smoke". We could all wear that color ribbon when we have our mm convention too. That way we'll know who our family is when we get there. If we take a vote on it, you've got mine!! I really like it!! WTG Tammy! Smiley

I didn't even think of the puff of smoke.  Thanks for bringing that up Mar.  I like it even better.
Hope others do to.

Tammy

Ok..I guess I will let the cat out of the bag....I have one that I am waiting for a price on they are magnetic to go on cars that say Moyamoya Awareness.....I just didn't want to say anything until I had prices on them...and the color that I had them quote was Silver with a black outline and black lettering......

My idea right now was to see how much it was to make them and a min order price, but what I wanted was to sell them for a small fee, and until the foundation gets up and going, I was going to give the profit to Connie to help with her surgeries and then in Sept it could go to the foundation.

I came up with the idea about 2 wks ago and was out of town so I couldn't get to a sign shop right away, but I have since made it in, and took Holly's article with me to show them about her and about Moyamoya and what I wanted to do.....they are working with their print shop on cost and ordering info for me.

I would be happy to give my number to anyone that has any ideas....would love to hear back about it.

Tammy and Hillary, They say great minds think alike. I'll be keeping an eye out for more info, but count my vote in.
