I 'm a newbee here, but that's because I just found this page, but I feel  really at ease, so I just lwanted to let you know.
On monday my school starts again after a long vacation, and I   am verry happy I can go. I really miss my classmates.

Hi Lilian!

Just found you on the site this very minute and so much want to welcome you to us. Thrilled to find another european member and Holland is so close to Sweden where we live!
I´m not the one with MM, my daughter Louise is 8 years old and had surgery in Sweden about 20 months ago and is feeling fine since about one year. She sometimes has small symtoms from the disease but we are all getting used to this now and she is living a good and full life  so far.
Happy to hear everything is good with you as well; all "HAPPYSTORIES" give me faith and trust for the future of Louise.
Hard writing all this in English, I know, but all these people are good at understanding my poor English so they will for sure understand you as well!! Smiley Kiss

Thank you for welcoming me, nice to here from fellow Europeans.

I feel sorry for all the young kids with moyamoya , If I know what  I had to go through with all the scans. and the angio's , and above all the surgey, I alrady had so much pain.
imangine what those kids must feel.. Sad

Welcome--I love hearing from other countries.  I am glad school seems to be such a good thing for you.  Arianna loved school so much, it's really hard to hear someone talk about how much they hate it.  Good luck.  I'm sure you're classmates are as excited to see you too.

There was a time I hated school, but after i had moyamoya and survived I realised it is a blessing I can go to school, there are so many sick children who can't have a surgery because they are always sick and no doctor in the world can help them, and of course the poor kids.
Being healthy is not something common, it's a gift.
You should be happy with what you have.And that there are people who love you for just the way you are.
I'm happy I survives moyamoya, and live the way I live my life now.
I have a great boyfriend and great friends.
There is nothing in the world more beatiful than that.
But I think you can only realise that after having such a terrible decise.

You know I am really curious to hera your stories about MM, since I just got here, I don't know annyone of you and yet It feels good.
I understand what you are talking about, because we all lived through the same, or are still doing that.

     I'm glad that you have found us.  I hope that I can be of any help to you that I can.  It's wonderful that you are headed back to school.  It's tough to be sick and think about not being able to go.  Take care of you. If you need anything, everyone is very helpful. Again, welcome.

It was hard for me going back to school after surgery. Not everybody understood it and I lost a lot of friends, and didn't get symphathy from classmates.I went to another school, with different people and it went a lot better. This is my second year on this school, and i still got my friends, they understand me, or at least try to. They are patient with me.
I can't say I'm lucky 'cos I still have trouble sometimes with my talking. But I try the best I can.
