Wish you peace

Wow, I cannot believe I have been away from here for so long.  I kind of just let everything go for a while.  But today talking to someone about MM I thought, I need to go back and see how everyone is doing.  And WOW...this place sure has grown.  I am determined to catch up and stay in the loop and in touch.

We just passed the second anniversary of Arianna's passing.  Cannot believe it's been that long already.  Been doing what little I can to try and educate those around me about MM and have some good friends who are encouraging me to write about her story.  It's theraputic and I want it to be the most educational it can be...so of course I know where to come to get that as well.

Too all who are new to MM...I am sorry you have to deal with this and all it brings, but I am hopeful you will find your pathway to peace and happines.
For those who have walked this journey and forged the pathway so many do follow, I am encouraged by your strength and by the light you shine for those who are terrified at this very moment.
This is one very special group of people.
Peace be with you all.

Tammy,

I am very very sorry too hear about your daughter...I know how you feel when they told me that i had a terminal disease i was devastated and i just had a new baby on May 5 2006.  And they can't give a timeline on how long I have left cause they don't know.

My heart goes out too u and your family for your loss. I was diagnosed with MM back when i was having TIA's and then a stroke lasting 30 hours. The Dr that diagnosed me with MM was Dr. Christopher Ogilvy and he is the same Dr. that just did my surgery Jan 18th.  And Chad and I returned home feb 1st after complications during and after surgery. Major aspartation in both of my lungs causing me too contract Double Pneumonia where I was put on life support and and induced coma for 10 days. I too lost someone very special to me, my cousin Jeff who died of pancratic cancer it was like he held on just long enough too make sure I was okay when they took me off life support then when his wife told him I was fine he took one last breath and passed away before i could get too see him. At least I am thankdul that i got to talk too him on the phone before I left for Boston on the 16th of Jan.
So my heart goes out too you and your family and everyone else on here who is  dealing with someone or themselves with MM
