I find this article quite intersting as when Bruschi had his stroke, in the back of my mind, I wondered if he might have moyamoya disease.  Of course, there has been no indication that he does, and I believe his stroke was caused by a heart defect that he has.  However, when it happened, I did send an email to him informing him about moyamoya disease...just in case.

I'm certain it's just a coincidence that Bruschi is now teaming up with the Lyon family.  But coincidence or not - this is a huge step in the right direction for moyamoya disease.  I always said that it would be a great thing if someone of celebrity status got inolved in helping raise awareness of MM.  Maybe now would be a good time for me to email him again.  Smiley

Bruschi has always been a personal favorite of mine even though he doesn't play for the Cowboys.  And since he's had his stroke, he's been a personal hero of mine.

Absolutely Michelle!  I looked for a way to contact him or his organization tor quite a while the other night and couldn't find anything definite.

If you have good contact info, please let me know.

DJ,

If you go to the New England Patriots website and go to the Fan Zone area, you will see a drop down menu with "Email a Patriot."  Here you can email any player on the team.  I've included the link below.

I tried looking up information for Tedy's Team, but really didn't find anything as far as an email for him that way.  I'll keep doing some more research on this in the coming days though.

I think though that if we can make our email stick out that goes to Tedy through the Patriots website, and enough of us email him, then it just might raise an eyebrow.
