Hi Everyone, I have searched everywhere and asked questions of every health professional i have come in contact with and all i am told is it may be beyond the knowledge that dr's and science have avaliable to them. Let me explain the problem. My daughter Molly had double bypass with Dr. Scott in may of 06. Last march we tried to have her tested for learning disabilities at school. The were doing visual spatial testing with red and white blocks. This caused severe head pain(like being stabbed in the back of the head with a knife), blurred vision ,disiness, tunnel vision. This caused a TIA with left sided facial paralisis. MRA was normal. Dr.Scott doubled her asprin. Since then she keeps having these spells, She has extreme sensitivity to lights in her eyes(flash bulb,Dr's lite, headlights at night),she gets severe head pain*(back of the head) and cant think afterwards(confused). She sometimes seems to be in a fugued state and stares into space. I thought it might be a siezure. Her angio was good Dr. Scott had zero advice! We had a neuropsyche test done that showed complex visual processing problems and recogniton problems with faces and new info if not presented in a structured way. The spells continue! She has had had them from ambulance lights, fast rolling words on the TV. Her schedule(grid) copying music lines and notes from the board, homework assignment of the Vicksburg Code(a jumbled graph of the alphabet)fireworks, fading in and out on the tv and any words and numbers moving fast on a tv or computer and red and white or black and white swirles or lines. My question is does anyone have problems lik this? We went to the neurologist this week and they did an EEG they did not see siezure activity with the blinking lights. The test hert her so bad it made her cry but no siezure activity. They did see some siezure activity in her sleep and want to admit her for 5 days to do a recording. They said her head pain could be what are called SUNKED(icepick headaches) this does not fit because molly's are caused by her eyes! Do you all have headaches and head pain that is different? Has anyone been to a neuro/opthamaligist?any info you can provide would be helpful! They are going to do nothing and I feel this is dangerous it did cause a TIA once HELP ANYONE, PLEASE! Thankyou, Amiee (Molly's Mom)
