Roberts 1 year Anniversary
Oct 24th, 2007 at 12:44pm

Hello everyone, again sorry I dont post as often as we should.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of ROBERTS 1st Surgery

A year ago today, at the time I am Typing this Robert's Health and Future where in the Hands of Dr. Steinberg.  I am happy to say that in our opinion, we couldnt have asked for a better outcome.
Before surgery, Roberts TIA's were about 1 a week since surgery the second being on halloween he has had 2 minor episodes...cant even call them full blown TIA's he does complain of headaches but it is a long way from where we were a year ago.

Thank you to every one here, we visit often and look on from a distance, But that dosent mean your forgotten rather

Thanks again to everyone here, This site saved my sons life, as well as Julie's Brandons, and Mine

Mike

Mike,

That 1st anniversary is especially huge.  You look back, sometimes in disbelief, at what you've been through and just marvel at where you are now.  A big congrats to all of you!  I'm glad to hear that Robert is doing so well.  Please give him a pat on the back for me, and I'm sure Halloween at home this year will be far better than Halloween in the hospital, as it was last year!

Big hugs to all of you,
Jill

Hi Mike,

Congratulations to Robert on his 1st year anniversary!

I know what a milestone it is and was for Cubbie (Kevin).  He felt like he was on his way to bigger and better things and it was such a relief to him as I am sure it is to you and your family.

Sounds like Robert has done very well given all things considered.  It is like Jill said...it is almost unconscionable to think of where Robert was a year ago and where Robert is today.  It is amazing what the human body can endure and how the body can repair and/or restore itself especially by the hands of a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon like Dr. Steinberg.

Here's to many more years of celebrating milestones!

Hugs,

Lore

I can't believe I missed my little buddies 1yr anniversary....!!!! I was mentally keeping a note of it....but you know how that goes LOL.

I have been so busy these last couple of months....and kind of wiped out a bit too....seems spending time on the board took a back seat for a while.

Anyhow....so happy to hear things are progressing the way that they should be. Stay warm up there in Michigan! Best wishes to all the family.
