See Dentist with caution
Nov 4th, 2007 at 2:45pm

Hi, I just recently have a rootcanel done Cry, and I talked to Dentist about Moyamoya.  He said it good that I had told him that because it made different on what kind of numb medicine he used.  Common dentist will use EPINEPHRINE for numb our gums but this drug will shrink blood velsels and that is not good for MM patient.
Just take caution.  my Smiley

I was given this same caution from my sister actually. She sufferes from migrains. She happened to have a couple really bad ones after trips to the dentist and finally told him about them wondering if the two could be conected. He told her it was most likely the Epinephrine he was giving her, and that it is  a vascular constrictor, and for future visits she could have Mepivacaine without the Epinephrine. She warned me know this could be very serious for Kathleen if it was administered to her.It certainly not even worth trying it I personally would NOT take the chance with it.Good Warning I think!

I recently had my wisdoms removed. I talked to my nurologest before i did it saying they wanted to put me to sleep for it. My nurologest okayed it. Also I have talked to my regular dentist and he just uses novacane on me. He was very intrested in MM and I gave him this site so ha could learn for himself and make better desisions. I can not have my upper teeth worked on for a long time since they lean you back so it is like you are hanging upside down. so he has to give me a break if i say so.

What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. And sometimes leaves a cool looking scar.     STA-MCA bypass and EMS Surgeries done at same time at the Mayo clinic
