I was on a progesterone only pill and it was wonderful! I am now have a IUD called Mirena still progesterone only and I am loving it too. I have hurd that some IUDs may cause discomfort. This is not bothering me and I have had it in for a year now. My husband took only two times before he said he doesn't realy feel the strings.  I hope this helps.

What about the Depo (every 3 months) shots or the other one that you get ever so many year  or years? I'm afraid of head aches and other side effects.

the thing about depo (depravera i think) though is that it takes a long time to get out of your system.... so if you have bad side effects then it takes a while to reverse them that's all......
