Hey, Its me again. Twin b,
My EDAS on the Rt side failed and I have been told by my Neursurgeon that he doesnt want to try again. Im looking to Dr Stienberg for secon opinion. Anyone ever had to repeat a failed bypass?

Hi Lisa,

Over the years I’ve spoken with a few MM patients who had to have surgery again. In their cases, the doctors were just not experienced enough with MM. In one case the graph was too small, and the other chose the wrong type of surgery for their particular case. Either way, that’s exactly why I emphasize a MM specialist for a second opinion, it’s just smart when dealing with a rare disease. You can love your doctor to pieces, but MM experience is the key to success IMO.
