Ruby's 6 month follow-up appt

Ruby had her 6-month post-surgery follow-up with her pediatric neurologist yesterday. (It was actually a 7 month follow-up b/c we rescheduled the original appt so we could attend a Make-A-Wish function at the company that is sponsoring Ruby's Wish trip to NYC this summer, Midwest ISO.)

Ruby "passed" her exam with flying colors. Her pedi neuro is very pleased with her progress post-surgeries, and doesn't need to see her for another 6 months. At that point, Ruby will have had her one-year post-surgery angiogram so we can see what her new vessel growth looks like.

The neurologist also calmed my fears about my on-going concerns about the possibility of Ruby also having NF, so it was a great appointment all the way around.

I remember the relief when we had Destin's check up...you just kind of hold your breath until the doctor gives you the good news.
