Skydiving indoor with Moya-moya
Jul 20th, 2016 at 12:23pm

Dear all,

because parachuting is out of the question I wanted to do some indoor skydiving in a windchannel. The duration would be around 15-30 minutes with breaks. I would have to wear a helmet and some protective gear. I called my neurologist today and he said he wouldn't recommend it because health goes before this adventurous event.

I myself have a bi-lateral surgery 5 years ago in 2011. So a double sided bypass. What would other Moya Moya patients recommend? Is it really that dangerous? Could it really harm me?

Thanks

Parachuting is not out of the question:)

I had bilateral bypass, and I jumped out of the airplan from 15,000 last year, as well as indoor skydiving without any problem. Grin

Thanks! My neurologist and my surgeon both strictly forbid parachuting but (with hesitation) allowed Skydiving in the windchannel. So I'll respect his decision and try that first.

Thanks.
