Hi we live in england we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren, our daughter was under a neurologist from the age of 11 but he never new what was wrong with her, untill at the age of 18 she had a stroke and they told us she had moyamoya she has had both sides operated on since. We asked them at the time if this was inherited, they said no. Now my son at the age of 25 has had 2 strokes and has been told he also has moyamoya, they still say it is not inherited but want to test our other son for moyamoya. Please can anyone help we are very worried now we dont think the doctors in the uk know what they are talking about, they get all there information off the internet. We are also very worried about our grandchildren can anyone help please thank-you sheila.
