Spreading the word about MoyaMoya

I've kind of kept this one a secret until I knew for sure that it was going to happen. We did an interview with the local newspaper here in New Braunfels Texas. I emailed them the press release before we went to Vegas, and they just got back to me a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, the photographer was here this evening and was excited to be here taking pictures of Holly. We did get a call from the reporter earlier today that the story will run tomorrow (friday). She also informed us that it will be on the front page of the newspaper. I will post the link tomorrow morning so everyone can read it.

I am all for raising awareness of this so-called "rare" disease. Did you leave your phone # or email address for the newspaper to give to interested readers? After my 2 interviews on the local news, emails and calls started coming in from viewers who also have MM, have family/friends with MM, or think they may have MM because they have similar symptoms. You'll be surprised! Shocked

I think what you did is awesome!

Congrats to Holly! Looks like she's plugging along just fine... ; Grin
