Renewing our wedding vows
Nov 16th, 2005 at 12:28am

Hi everyone,
Would really like to share this with you.

My husband Tony and I will be renewing our wedding vows on Sunday 27th November. We decided that it would be nice to have a fresh start after all the things we have been through over the years - brain surgery etc... So we plan to be doing this on the beach on a (hopefully) sunny day next sunday and then having lunch afterwards at this restaurant right on the beachfront (overlapping the sea) with our 2 best friends and Tony's dad and step mum. We will be exchanging roses with each other as a sign of our love, and he has bought me an exquisite diamond ring and I have bought him a solid gold bracelet. I have bought a new dress in french blue with the handkerchief hemline and thin shoestring straps and he will be colour co-ordinating me in a french blue shirt and black trousers. I have designed a certificate  for the occasion (being a calligrapher/ graphic designer) and although we have been married for 18 years already, we are not doing it as a milestone. In his words he said "after all, YOU, I would marry again!"
Will keep you posted how it goes - really looking forward to it!!
Love and best wishes
Moira

Wow Moira,

That's wonderful......what a great time to do it, too.  Right after Thanksgiving.  What can I say...we all have
so much to be thankful for!!!

Much love & Aloha Kiss Smiley

Moira,

Congrats!  How touching!  You are really taking advantage and living out your new lease on life after your surgery!   ;Grin  Hooray for Tony too for being such a tremendous support!  May I suggest Hawaii as your second Honeymoon?  Wink

Please know that I send my best to you and Tony and your family....always...

Take care,
Shan

Thank you Jan, Shari and Shan for all your beautiful thoughts and wishes!
I would love to see Hawaii Shan!! I wouldn't need any excuse to go there for a holiday, then we can catch up with our families!!
Maybe one day
Best regards

Moira,

If ever you are in the islands please be sure to contact either Shan or me (we live on different islands).  I know I would me more than happy to show you our sights on Kauai, I think Shan would be happy to show you the sights on her island (Oahu).  And bring you to the places with great food.
