MERRY XMAS!!!
Dec 19th, 2005 at 6:34pm

Hi to all my Moya Moya family,

I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.
I sincerely hope for some of you that 2006 will be a far better year than the one you have just experienced.

Christmas down under will be a summer affair with lots of seafood and not so much hot food.

I personally will be having lunch at our house with Tony and our 2 kids - my dad will be visiting in the morning and our best friend Alain will also be dropping around. After lunch we will go to Tony's father and step mum and the rest of his family will be there (3 brothers, partners and kids) and 2 uncles and aunts. There will be lots of phone calls to rellies who are not with us - my sister is in Brisbane with her husband.
I will also go to put flowers on my mom's plaque at a rememberance park where the kids can feed the ducks.

I envy all of you who will be experiencing a white Christmas,  but thank you all for your input over the last year to questions I have posted and to the good friends I have made online - especially you Shan!

Lots of love and best wishes
Moira

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THE ENTIRE MOYAMOYA FAMILY Smiley

I feel priviledged to have the opportunity to know you and I want to thank you for your endless support and invaluable information through sharing your personal experieinces with moyamoya.

Shan, How many tons of the "white stuff" would you like delivered to Hawaii? Smiley

Moira, don't be too envious of those of us who must endure the "white stuff" because to have the "big white monster" it has to be cold.  It was 6 below zero here yesterday. Smiley Sometimes we get so much snow we get snowed in and can't get out. Even so, the snow is pretty and especially at Christmas and especially if you don't have to be out and about in it or have to drive in it. Actually, that can be entertaining...to watch folks try and manuver in the snow and especially in a car. Smiley

May you all have a very blessed Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

Love and hugs to all, Smiley Smiley

Thanks for starting this post, Moira.  I haven't been here to post much lately . . . typical holiday craziness on our end, too.  Hopefully we can all step back to remember the "reason for the season", and enjoy some special time with our families.

It's been an amazing year . . . thanks to each of you for the part you've played in our lives (mine, Campbell's and Tara's).  Our MM family is an AWESOME group of people, and hopefully each of us can continue to pay it forward as others continue to join us.

Hugs from out west and Merry Christmas!

Gdaay! Moria and a Merry Christmas to you ;Grin and yours.

By the way Smiley Smiley can you tell me what a winge is? It's not in the New Jersey vocabulary Cheesy

Oh and Shan, I  truly love snow but would like to make a trade for some crystal clear blue water, a ripe pineapple and a palm tree.

Hi Tom
A winge is a gripe or moan - something I tend to do well very occasionally!!

To my MoyaMoya family...

I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. May each of your holiday dreams come true.

Thank you for the all of the wonderful support over the past nine months. Your support and words of wisdom have made the whole MM diagnoisis phase easier to deal with. And, the education was priceless.

May you and your families be blessed throughout the new year.

Happy Holiday's....be safe and be warm.
Greg and Olga

PS. To the NYC/NJ/PA crowd, I'll see you in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in Princeton.

I was misdiagnosed with MM in March of 2005. In January 2006, I was told it is not MM, but rather a massive restriction in the MC1 segment of my left carotid artery.
