Please remember to vote!
Nov 7th, 2006 at 12:16am

Don't forget to vote!

Since this is a "mid-term" election, which means that it takes place in the middle of a Presidential term, turnout is expected to be significantly less than last year. Fewer voters will mean that YOUR VOTE IS ALL THE MORE IMPORTANT!!

Make your voice heard!

I will definatly be out to vote BUT,I have to say I've beeen very dissapointed in the local politicians and they're "mud slinging" campaigns this year.It seems that it's been worse than other years. so bad that a couple of the races I just don't want to vote for either party. What's been everyone elses experience?? I can't wait till all the comercials are over with, evey one of them isn't about what the politician WILL do,but rather what the other politician has done wrong in their life....I just don't get it.I will vote and every one should.

Oh yeah, we have the local mud-slinging going on here too Mary Grace. I think it’s been everyone’s experience in this election, one way or another. It’s politics and what they do when they don’t wanna take a stand on specific issues. I also get a gazillion political “bashing" recordings on the phone everyday too (my nerves!) and you’re right girlfriend, the commercials are more annoying than helpful. I’m just voting my party line and continuing to pray that the important issues get resolved, and then I can at least say I exercised my right to vote and had my say in the matter. IMO, If people vote, then and only then does it give them the right to bitch about it all…lol

I’m Mar, and I approved this message…hehehe

We too can't wait for the phone calls to stop - the number of them this year has been ridiculous!  We're doing the same thing as you Mar, voting our party line and saying prayers that the issues are resolved.

Go vote!
