Christmas comes early for the Johnson's

WOW!!! What a year!! Thinking about what a crazy, busy year it has been for us, this is what I came up with...

Engaged in Oklahoma City in February, married in Las Vegas in May, a few trips here and there to Kansas City and Fort Forth. Milwaukee in July, down to Chicago. All the way over to Florida, up to Georgia, back down to Orlando...Disney and Shamu visits....out to Stanford, to make sure the noggin was still workin, up to San Fran for a yummy breakfast by the bridge, and back down the coast for a beautiful days drive. All in all, DJ and I have traveled literally coast to coast, totaling over 15,000 miles since January 2006 (that's half way round the world!),

We had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving with our family. DJ's parents, who have been divorced for 35 years, came to see us as well as his grandfather. DJ and I cooked for 7 hours to have a wonderful meal. My parents as well as Conner were there to eat some Pumpkin Pie. It truly was a great day!! However, not fully understandng how "blessed" of a Thanksgiving it really was.

As if we haven't had the greatest year so far...God topped it off with the best Christmas gift ever...DJ and I are gonna have a baby!!!

Due in August 2007, you all are going to be aunts/uncles/grandmas/grandpas!

OMG, I can’t stop crying! I’m so tickled it hurts!! I have so many emotions running a muck right now, and so many thoughts I’d like to share, but couldn’t get it out right now if I wanted to. Hopefully I’ll be able to share ‘em with you when I see you, but please know that, little 'Deej' or 'Deejette' is already in my heart and I’m happier for you guys more than words can say.

Auntie Mar is here whenever you need her, at anytime or anyplace. Lot’s of hugs…Congratulations!!

Ok it has been a while since I was on here and the darn thing posted before I was done!! Smiley

I am so very happy for your family, a baby is a gift and one that I know you and DJ will cherish. May your pregnancy go smoothly for you and please keep us informed after every doctors appt!!
