NEW Calendar!
Jul 5th, 2004 at 2:53pm

I've added a new calendar to the board!  I've found one of the hardest things to keep up with is who's having surgery when.  Hopefully this calendar will help keep track of the special dates for our family.  It should also be helpful showing what dates people will be at certain hospitals (i.e. Stanford/Boston) for follow-ups, etc. making it easier to meet up with other families.

You can view the calendar by clicking the link at the top of the page.  You can also see a list of the "Upcoming Events" listed at the bottom of the main message board page.

If you have a date you would like added to the calendar, PM or email me with the info and I will get it added ASAP.

Hope you like the new feature!

D.J,
This is absolutely a wonderful idea you came up with. I have a terrible time remembering when people have surgery and who's leaving where, when, and meeting who when, its great it will make life so much easier on the board. Why should I be surprised though you never seez (SP) to amaze...what next. Keep up the great work like I need to tell you that. This is my favorite addition yet.

DJ

I thought it was just me who had trouble remembering all the important dates.

Nope Janice, it's a common problem.

I'm starting to wonder if anyone is seeing this post up here at the top of the board anomore with a couple of posts stuck up here all the time?

Wondering....

DJ -I love this!  I am glad that you added this to the site.  It makes it SO much easier to remember who is where when!  I didn't want to forget someone that might be having surgery, going home, having test. . . etc.  This makes it very easy!  I also like the birthdays that are added, also.  It never hurts to hear another "Happy Birthday" from out "other" family!!!  Thanks!! Hope this isn't too late for the July calendar!  Kyle's 11th birthday is the 23rd of July.   We'll be celebrating at the Heampstead, TX Watermelon Festival this Sat.  Hempstead is the Watermelon Capital of the World (?) and Kyle LOVES watermelon!  Last year, we went for the first time and he won 1st place in a seed-spitting contest in his age group.  His Speech therapist would've been so proud!

How are you doing, DJ?  Your site sure is attracting  a lot of attention!  You gotta be proud!

Blessings on ya!
