1st follow ups after surgeries (Read 2821 times)

1st follow ups after surgeries

Hi all,

Trey has his first follow up with the Neurosurgeon next Wednesday--July 14 (It was supposed to be tomorrow, but we had to reschedule it). 

Trey has been doing great!!!  I was wondering if there was anything that I should be asking the Neurosurgeon.  If anyone can give me any pointers I would really appreciate it.

            Thats great I'm so glad he is doing well I was wondering. You have a beautiful little boy he's really cute. Let us know what happens. I'm sure your questions will come for the DR. as your there.

The only question I can think of, right now, is what will be the follow up - ie. will he have to be examined twice a year, once a year, etc. - and via what tests?  MRI?  That's the question I have when I go back to Dr. Scott.  At my 6-week post op appointment he said that it would be determined when I come back for my 1 year appointment.  Just an idea....

I agree with Nancy N.! So happy to hear everything went well with your beautiful Trey and the questions will come when you´re at the doctor´s. Follow-up is important and just enjoy that he´s recovering so well. Good luck!! Smiley Kids are fantastic at this!!! Smiley
