Hey everyone,

i am writing for lisa right now since she is in ICU.  i wanted to update everyone on her surgery.  Dr. Rose said that everything went great! they started the surgery at 1:15pm and was done at 5:20pm.  when I went into see her in recovery she was talking and looked great!  she did have half of her head shaved but none of us cared.  she also gained a huge amount of strength back on her right side which she had loss from all the tia's. 
dr. rose said that she will be able to get back to running in no time.  all the running that she did he believes is what saved her life.  and he wants her to keep it up...with precautions. 
anyway, i know that this update is scattered, but it has been a very long day!  thank you so much for all of your support and prayers. 
by the way,  we have taken pictures of everything up to this point and will continue.  i will post them as soon as i can.  i will keep you all updated on her progress.

Wonderful news about Lisa's surgery!  When she's a little more coherent, please tell her how many of us were pulling for her.  That first surgery is so difficult . . . the wait seems forever, no one seems to know what to expect, etc.

That's wonderful news, Charmin!  Thanks for the update!  Please tell her we are sending wishes for a speedy recovery and she will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers!
