Thanks, guys. We spent a quiet day at home with Cameron. I slept late, got breakfast in bed and flowers, and we took Cam to the park to go on the swings. He's ten and a half months now, and working full-time and having him keeps me very busy.

I will be seeing Pat in a couple of weeks. We're going to New Jersey and Britain for Christmas to visit family and friends. She called me today to sing Happy Belated Birthday to me, and she sounded great. Like anyone in constant recovery from this disease, she has some days that are better than others.

P.S. She can't wait to see my son for the first time, and I can't wait to see her scars. Kinda morbid, huh?
