Testing done for now
Jan 28th, 2005 at 9:32pm

Chris did great on his tests!! His graft is doing great Cheesy. I am always so amazed at how well he handles all of this.
He is a special needs child with add/add and for him to lay so still for the spec scan 2 days in a row is beyond me.
He was sedated for the angiogram and the MRI 2 days in a row.
We live 5 hours away so we stay in a nearby motel and it is really hard to get him up and go sit there for 12 hours at a time and then do it again the next 3 days. I am not so brave as he is. He is only 14 and I am the one crying.
Thank you for this wonderful web site DJ and all who post on it. It has helped us so much.

Hi Debra,  Smiley

I'm so tickled to hear all went well, but with Dr. Steinberg and staff, and all our prayers, I never doubted it for a minute. Please tell Chris how very proud we are of him. That's alot for anyone to go through, bless his heart, and mom, ya ain't so bad yourself! Smiley So glad all went well. Thanks for posting, we love to hear success stories.

You both are in our continued thoughts and prayers. Smiley

Hi Debra,
glad to hear things are going good.  We have been here going on 5 weeks now with our son Mark.  He's 22 and we cry every day as well.  It's really hard to see a child no matter what their age go through this.  Debra, we probably were in Dr. Steinbergs office and saw each other today.  Sorry we were not aware or we would have said HI. Wink
                        Best wishes,
                     Ron and Lisa Rowland

PS  I still am not convinced that California should be referred to as sunny.  My oldest son Mike says it's 0 and snowing but he sees the sun after a couple days.  He said we got 2 feet of snow the other day.  That's good.  It's a mild winter!

tHANKS FOR THE SUPPORT.
I am really happy we are home now and things are getting back to normal-is there such a thing as normal?.
We let Chris stay home from school on Fri . as he had such a long week
In the pacu after Chris came out from his angio there were so many kids in there. It is really wonderful to see so many getting the help they need.
I have a lot of gratitude for all the people who help our family`s and the people who are going thru what we are sharing there lifes hard moment with all of us so we don`t feel so alone in this.
  Thanks again, Debra
