Returning to Stanford for recheck
Feb 6th, 2005 at 11:57pm

Hey all.  Sorry it has been so long.  I hope Kristena, Hillary, Holly, Tara Campbell and all the other great individuals I met out there are doing well.  I go back to Stanford on Feb. 20th and would like to meet up with any who is going to be there then.  Especially any one who is getting ready to have the surgery.  I had to wait 8 months for my recheck due to work and vacation issues.  I had a lot of problems with headaches and some bad TIA's until just before Christmas but since then it has been smooth sailing.  I think it just took time for everything to heal up.  Plus I had a stroke after the first surgery and that took a little out of me.  All in all I feel much better than before the surgery and am sure I would be much worse without it.  Well let me know if anyone is going to be there.  I would like to meet aquaintances new and old.  God bless you all!

David

Hi David,

You and I didn't meet, but I am Campbell's wife and Tara's mom.  I briefly met Angie at one point when Tara was at Stanford for an appointment, but somehow I missed meeting you.

How long will you be here?  We would love to hook up at a convenient time, but fill us in on the dates o.k.?  Glad to hear that things have evened out for you and that you feel better.  Tara also had some post-surgery difficulties (mostly speech, but only lasting a few weeks).  She's had a total of 3 TIAs.  Though very frightening, they do pass!

Anyway, we can catch up when we see you.  Let me know, and we'll get something scheduled!

Jill

Hi Jill,

It is good to here that Tara is doing good.  We get there about mid day on the 20th and will leave the 24th.  My angiogram is monday and I have a couple test on Tuesday.  Right now Wednesday is still open.  It was nice to here from you.

Hi David,
It looks like we will just miss each other because I am scheduled to arrive in Stanford on the 27th of February.  I am having my first surgery on March 2 and the second surgery on March 9, they say if everything goes well I should be home around March 20th.  Sorry we will miss eachother Undecided
