Recheck at Stanford

Alls well that ends well I guess.  I have been cleared to do anything I want.  I was surprised to learn I can even do heavy weight lifting.  Teressa just said to start slow.  My bypasses look good.  The left back artery is still partially blocked.  Teressa said I am not the only one with a partially blocked back artery but they have never had to treat anyone with it.  Also I don't have to go back out to Stanford unless I start having problems.  I am still having some headaches and have had three pretty good TIA's sinse my surgeries in June but they said that was just a fact of life with Moyamoya but they should subside over time.  I hope this answers some questions people have about what to expect.  Thank you all for your prayers.

David

Congratulations, David.  Isn't it a great feeling!!!  I received the same answer from Dr. Scott in December...it put a huge smile on my face!

Great news David.  We have to take Mark back in May.  He's just chompin at the bit to get real active.  It's only been a couple weeks since his surgeries.  So we are discouraging him a bit from strenuous activities.  He did jump on the atv and the snowmobile though.
